removed from the tremendously successful 420 weekend.\u00a0 Celebrations occurred around the world and Marijuana.net was fortunate enough to attend the<a href=\"http:\/\/medcancup.com\/denver\/\" target=\"_blank\"> 2012 High Times Medical Marijuana Cannabis Cup<\/a>.\u00a0 As always patient access and safety are the most important issues, but the Cup also provides a forum for other interesting aspects of the industry.<\/p>\n<p>The cup gives a unique chance to compare top strains and while the award ceremony may be the biggest attraction <a href=\"http:\/\/www.marijuana.net\/uncategorized\/winners-of-colorado-cannabis-cup\/\" target=\"_blank\">(click here for the winners<\/a>), attendees were treated to a convention that highlighted the many and varied businesses in the medical marijuana industry.\u00a0 In any tough economic times, job creation and tax revenue are popular issues.\u00a0 Fortunately medical marijuana can do so much to create better economic conditions while providing safe and affordable relief.\u00a0 Unfortunately, lobbyists and stubborn politicians have not allowed this industry to reach its full potential.\u00a0 The Cannabis Cup in Denver demonstrated the tip of the iceberg.<\/p>\n<p>We at marijuana.net would like to take this opportunity to highlight some of the quality businesses that were present at the Cup.\u00a0 Marijuana.net was located right next to, <a href=\"http:\/\/judgejars.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Judge Jars<\/a>, which was providing high quality jars and storage options.\u00a0 Education groups were also a big part of the event.\u00a0 The group <a href=\"http:\/\/regulatemarijuana.org\/\" target=\"_blank\">Regulate Marijuana Like Alcohol<\/a> let their presence be felt.\u00a0 This group has been instrumental in collecting the required signatures to get a legalization vote to the people this November.\u00a0 <a href=\"http:\/\/sensiblecolorado.org\/\" target=\"_blank\">Sensible Colorado<\/a> was also at the event fighting to stop federal raids of dispensaries.\u00a0 Another group providing education was the<a href=\"http:\/\/cannabisalliance.org\/\" target=\"_blank\"> Cannabis Business Alliance<\/a>.\u00a0 They are advocates for patients, small businesses owners and employees of the medical marijuana industry.\u00a0 There were so many great dispensaries also at the event such as<a href=\"http:\/\/www.greenmancannabis.com\/\" target=\"_blank\"> Green Man Cannabis<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.amadispensary.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">AMA<\/a>, and Mahatma.\u00a0 We were also very impressed with<a href=\"http:\/\/essentialextracts.co\/site\/\" target=\"_blank\"> Essential Extracts<\/a> victory for their solvent-less wax.\u00a0 As they did at the Los Angeles Cannabis Cup,<a href=\"http:\/\/mamagrind.com\/?wpsc-product=mama-ps-custom-grinder\" target=\"_blank\"> Mama P&#8217;s<\/a> won for the best product with their popular grinders.\u00a0 <a href=\"http:\/\/www.goodchem.org\/missionstatement.html\" target=\"_blank\">Good Chemistry<\/a> had an amazing lounge set up in the patient room.\u00a0 As always we support laboratories that promote safe medicine.\u00a0 We can always rely on our friends, <a href=\"http:\/\/thewercshop.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">The Werc Shop<\/a> to help spread knowledge to patients about their medicine and the latest testing methods. \u00a0 Lets not forget the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.madhattersmokeshop.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Mad Hatter Smoke Shop<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.facebook.com\/pages\/Dopeass-glass\/198859010126610\" target=\"_blank\">Dope Ass Glass<\/a>.\u00a0 As in any quality cultural gathering, art is an important element.\u00a0 We were happy to meet the talented artist Marie, with <a href=\"http:\/\/www.kof420.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Kushed Out Fashions<\/a>.\u00a0 There were so many other quality businesses so please forgive us
