Barney Frank\u2019s (D-Mass )<\/a> comments on the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.barackobama.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Obama Administration\u2019s<\/a> handling of medical marijuana.<\/p>\n<p>Known for their expert coverage of American politics, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.politico.com\/news\/stories\/0412\/75421.html\" target=\"_blank\">Politico <\/a>ran a story describing Barney Frank\u2019s recent quotes regarding the white house and medical marijuana.\u00a0 Over the weekend Politico caught up with Mr. Frank and the representative said \u201cI\u2019m very disappointed\u2026They look more like the Bush administration than the Clinton administration.\u201d\u00a0 Barney Frank has been a long time advocate of marijuana reform and has co-sponsored bills with Ron Paul to amend cannabis prohibition.<\/p>\n<p>Additionally,<a href=\"http:\/\/www.opposingviews.com\/i\/society\/drug-law\/politico-reports-obama%E2%80%99s-medical-cannabis-conundrum\" target=\"_blank\"> Opposing Views<\/a> reported that both President Obama and Rep. Frank attended a lavish fundraiser across from <a href=\"http:\/\/norml.org\/\" target=\"_blank\">Norml\u2019s <\/a>offices at the St. Regis Hotel.\u00a0 The fundraiser cost about $35,800 to attend with mostly rich liberals (Obama\u2019s supposed base) filling the room.\u00a0 \u00a0Reports indicate that Barney Frank challenged the president on his handling of the recent medical marijuana raids.\u00a0 The president then claimed that they were only going after dispensaries on a case by case basis and was unaware of what the DOJ was doing.\u00a0 Rep.
