CBD is a key ingredient in Cannabis.<\/h3>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.buylegalbudz.com\/\">CBD<\/a> is one of\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/bjp.rcpsych.org\/content\/178\/2\/101.full\">over 60<\/a>\u00a0compounds found in cannabis that belong to a class of molecules called cannabinoids. Of these compounds, CBD and THC are usually present in the highest concentrations, and are therefore the most recognized and studied.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.buylegalbudz.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">CBD<\/a> and THC levels tend to vary among\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.leafscience.com\/2014\/06\/19\/indica-vs-sativa-understanding-differences\/\">different plants<\/a>. Marijuana grown for recreational purposes often contains more THC than CBD.<br \/>\nHowever, by using selective breeding techniques, cannabis breeders have managed to create varieties with high levels of CBD and next to zero levels of THC. CBD reduces the negative effects of THC.<\/h3>\n<p>CBD seems to offer natural protection against the marijuana high.\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov\/pmc\/articles\/PMC3797438\/\">Numerous studies<\/a>\u00a0suggest that CBD acts to reduce the intoxicating effects of THC, such as memory impairment and paranoia.<\/p>\n<p>CBD also\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov\/pubmed\/15118485\">appears\u00a0<\/a>to counteract the sleep-inducing effects of THC, which may explain why some strains of cannabis are known to increase alertness.<\/p>\n<p>Both\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.sciencedirect.com\/science\/article\/pii\/0041008X81901228\">CBD\u00a0<\/a>and\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.sciencedirect.com\/science\/article\/pii\/0041008X73903104\">THC\u00a0<\/a>have been found to present no risk of\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.leafscience.com\/2014\/08\/26\/can-you-overdose-on-marijuana\/\">lethal overdose<\/a>.
