Citing <a href=\"http:\/\/www.marijuana.com\/blog\/news\/2014\/07\/make-the-obama-administration-act-on-massive-drugpolicy-reform-promise\/\" target=\"_blank\">last year\u2019s Rohrabacher-Farr amendment<\/a>, Judge Breyer noted it\u00a0prevents the use of any government funds from being utilized for such actions.<\/p>\n<p>Representing the first ruling of its kind by a federal judge, this decision safeguards all state marijuana laws. Preventing the DOJ (Department of Justice) from spending any of our tax dollars to bust legal dispensaries or MMJ patients in any of the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.marijuana.com\/blog\/news\/2014\/07\/new-york-officially-becomes-americas-23rd-medical-marijuana-state\/\" target=\"_blank\">23 states that have voter approved medical marijuana programs<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>According to <a href=\"http:\/\/time.com\/4080110\/dea-medical-marijuana-california-ruling\/\">Time.com<\/a>:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>&#8221; Judge Charles Breyer of the U.S. district court in northern California disagreed with the DEA memo, writing in his decision that the department\u2019s interpretation of the law \u201cdefies language and logic\u201d and is \u201cat odds with fundamental notions of the rule of law.\u201d Instead, <a href=\"https:\/\/weedmaps.com\">the court sided with the dispensaries<\/a>, saying the department could not interfere with medical marijuana providers operating legally under state regulations.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p style=\"margin: 12px auto 6px auto;font-family: Helvetica,Arial,Sans-serif;font-style: normal;font-variant: normal;font-weight: normal;font-size: 14px;line-height: normal\"><a style=\"text-decoration: underline\" title=\"View MAMM vs USDOJ - Charles R.
