If approved, OSU researchers expect the results of their studies will be available in three to five years.<\/p>\n<p>The growing and distribution of industrial hemp is regulated by the Federal Controlled Substances Act.<\/p>\n<p>Jay Noller is head of the crop and soil science department at OSU.
