The long-overdue decision has finally pushed Florida\u2019s reluctant politicians into implementing <a href=\"http:\/\/www.marijuana.com\/blog\/news\/2014\/10\/montel-williams-backs-florida-medical-marijuana-amendment\/#%20Montel%20Williams%20Backs%20Florida%20Medical%20Marijuana%20Amendment\">the 2014 voter approved legislation<\/a>. Allowing for the cultivation, extraction, and distribution of low THC marijuana concentrates that are <a href=\"http:\/\/www.marijuana.com\/blog\/news\/2014\/12\/increased-demand-for-cbd-epilepsy-treatment\/#%20Increased%20Demand%20for%20CBD%20Epilepsy%20Treatment\">high in cannabidiol, or CBD<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Florida&#8217;s 2014 medical marijuana law initially passed as a means of helping patients suffering with epilepsy and life-threatening cases of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.marijuana.com\/blog\/news\/2015\/08\/the-national-cancer-institute-updates-faq-page-cannabis-kills-cancer\/#The%20National%20Cancer%20Institute%20Updates%20FAQ%20Page:%20\u2018Cannabis%20Kills%20Cancer\u2019\">advanced cancer<\/a>.
