And while he\u2019s been famously quoted, telling those who\u2019d listen, &#8220;<strong><em>You don&#8217;t see many drug traffickers retire<\/em><\/strong>,&#8221; his 19-year-old daughter Sarah, apparently never got that sermon.<\/p>\n<p>According to a post on <a href=\"http:\/\/www.rawstory.com\/2015\/11\/worlds-most-adorable-drug-kingpin-is-actually-the-daughter-of-texas-dea-head-honcho\/#World's%20most%20adorable%20drug%20kingpin%20is%20actually%20the%20daughter%20of%20Texas%20DEA%20head%20honcho\">Raw Story<\/a>, the <strong>Texas DEA agent<\/strong> worked diligently at creating <a href=\"http:\/\/www.marijuana.com\/blog\/news\/2013\/01\/u-s-government-fires-up-war-against-mexicos-drug-lords\/\" target=\"_blank\">havoc and mayhem for the Mexican drug cartel<\/a> along the border. Becoming \u201cthe implacable scourge of drug dealers,\u201d and someone who was a \u201c familiar presence at triumphant DEA press conferences announcing mass arrests and seizures of contraband and proceeds.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>On his way to the top of the DEA food chain, Furay led a large-scale drug bust called \u201c<a href=\"http:\/\/www.khou.com\/story\/news\/local\/2014\/07\/10\/11158618\/\" target=\"_blank\">Operation Blood Loss<\/a>\u201d in 2009, which boosted his professional career within the DEA hierarchy; eventually leading to another massive DEA drug bust in 2010, this time taking on the Sinaloa drug cartel\u2019s activity along the US border.<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>And he\u2019s apparently been milking that notoriety ever sense\u2026<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p>Most recently, Furay explained his antidrug crusade by pointing out to a group of reporters the obvious, \u201c<em>You don\u2019t see many drug traffickers retire. Either they end up in prison, or they end up dead.<\/em>\u201d With the irony fueled\u00a0subtext of his comment underlining the fact that it\u2019s DEA agents like him that turn up the pressure on street level drug dealers.<\/p>\n<p>Looking to follow in her father&#8217;s footsteps (<em>sort of<\/em>), Sarah also created an elevated name for herself within her chosen industry.<\/p>\n<p>The seemingly ironic thing is\u2026 she played for the other team. Slinging coke, speed, acid, and whatever else she could get her hands on.<\/p>\n<p>When the daughter&#8217;s bedroom was raided, police confiscated \u201c<strong>31.5 grams of coke packaged for sale, 126 grams of some chronic marijuana, 29 \u2018ecstasy\u2019 tablets, methamphetamine and 60 doses of a drug similar to LSD.<\/strong>\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Unfortunately for Sarah, thanks to DEA agents like her dear old dad, the Lone Star State is known for handing down extremely <a href=\"http:\/\/norml.org\/laws\/item\/texas-penalties-2\" target=\"_blank\">harsh sentences for drug-related crimes<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Provided her father doesn&#8217;t pull any strings \u2013 Sarah is now staring down the barrel of at least three felony charges.
