Barring employers from terminating patients simply for possessing a state issued card, or <a href=\"http:\/\/www.marijuana.com\/community\/forums\/urine-testing.113\/#How%20to%20pass%20a%20urine%20test\">testing positive for THC<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Having witnessed <a href=\"http:\/\/www.marijuana.com\/blog\/news\/2013\/04\/colorado-medical-marijuana-patients-can-be-fired-for-lighting-up\/#Colorado%20Medical%20Marijuana%20Patients%20Can%20Be%20Fired%20For%20Lighting%20Up\">Colorado&#8217;s current dilemma<\/a> from afar, Michigan State Rep. Sam Singh believes unjustified firings have become a significant problem in more than a handful of states where medical marijuana is now legal.
