{"id":5894,"date":"2016-04-19T21:59:18","date_gmt":"2016-04-19T21:59:18","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.420magazine.com\/?p=4722"},"modified":"2016-04-19T21:59:18","modified_gmt":"2016-04-19T21:59:18","slug":"mo-house-approves-growing-of-hemp","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/cannitrol.com\/blog\/mo-house-approves-growing-of-hemp\/","title":{"rendered":"MO: House Approves Growing Of Hemp"},"content":{"rendered":"<div id=\"wp_fb_like_button\" style=\"margin:5px 0 5px 5px;float:right;height:100px;\"><script src=\"http:\/\/connect.facebook.net\/en_US\/all.js#xfbml=1\"><\/script><fb:like href=\"https:\/\/cannitrol.com\/blog\/mo-house-approves-growing-of-hemp\/\" send=\"true\" layout=\"standard\" width=\"450\" show_faces=\"false\" font=\"arial\" action=\"like\" colorscheme=\"light\"><\/fb:like><\/div><p>The House is giving the go ahead to a measure to allow the growing of industrial hemp in Missouri.<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s a by-product of marijuana but contains very little of the psychoactive chemical, THC.<\/p>\n<p>Hemp can be used for clothing, rope and other things.<\/p>\n<p>The House on Monday voted 123-29 to pass the legislation and send it to the Senate.<\/p>\n<p>The bill would legalize and regulate the cultivation of hemp.<\/p>\n<p>Businesses seeking to grow hemp would have to go through a licensing process and undergo a background check. The crop would be subject to inspection.<\/p>\n<p>Sponsor Republican Rep.
