He added that an investigation remains ongoing.<\/p>\n<p>Jacqueline Kirby, spokeswoman for the El Paso County Sheriff\u2019s Office, said the agency\u2019s SWAT team assisted DEA agents.<\/p>\n<aside class=\"related right\" \/>\n<p>Kirby said she could not provide exact locations for where the warrants were served, but said they were in eastern El Paso County.<\/p>\n<p>Over the past year, federal agents and local law enforcement in southern Colorado and throughout the state have been <a href=\"http:\/\/www.denverpost.com\/2016\/09\/28\/illegal-marijuana-operations-raid-southeast-colorado\/\">clamping down<\/a> on marijuana <a href=\"http:\/\/www.denverpost.com\/news\/ci_28940422\/feds-raids-upend-illegal-marijuana-rings-proliferating-colorado\">being illegally grown<\/a> in homes.
