And it marked the second such day of meetings \u2013 setting off concern among marijuana advocates of federal interference from Attorney General Jeff Sessions, a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.thecannabist.co\/2017\/06\/13\/jeff-sessions-medical-marijuana-prosecution\/81410\/\">strident marijuana opponent<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>On Monday, Department of Justice and White House Office of Drug Control and Policy officials met with Gov. John Hickenlooper\u2019s staff, state marijuana regulators, the Rocky Mountain High Intensity Drug Trafficking Area and the U.S. Attorney\u2019s Office, Suthers said.<\/p>\n<p>A day later, they met in Suthers\u2019 office for an hour, while also speaking with Colorado Springs police commanders and the Drug Enforcement Agency\u2019s resident agent, he added.
