That towering peak comes despite what\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.denverpost.com\/2018\/06\/19\/how-many-ballots-colorado-primary-2018\/\">looking to be a low turnout<\/a> for the June 26 contests (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.denverpost.com\/2018\/06\/02\/unaffiliated-voters-colorado-primary-2018\/\">there\u2019s still time to vote!<\/a>).<\/p>\n<p>Beyond the campaign craziness, Denver and Aurora could soon be a lot quieter as the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.denverpost.com\/2018\/06\/19\/rtd-a-line-flaggers\/\">airport train\u2019s horns<\/a>\u00a0days are now numbered, Denverites will likely <a href=\"https:\/\/www.denverpost.com\/2018\/06\/20\/beer-wine-denver-parks\/\">have an easier time getting tipsy<\/a> at the city\u2019s parks in the not-so-distant future and those <a href=\"https:\/\/www.denverpost.com\/2018\/06\/18\/lime-electric-scooters-denver\/\">Lime scooters are going bye-bye<\/a> (for now).<\/p>\n<p>The Trump administration\u2019s (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/2018\/06\/20\/us\/politics\/trump-immigration-children-executive-order.html?hp&amp;action=click&amp;pgtype=Homepage&amp;clickSource=story-heading&amp;module=span-ab-top-region&amp;region=top-news&amp;WT.nav=top-news\">disappearing?<\/a>) policy of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.denverpost.com\/2018\/06\/18\/immigrant-family-separation-colorado-stance\/\">separating immigrants crossing into the U.S. illegally from their children<\/a> created a uproar in Colorado <a href=\"https:\/\/www.denverpost.com\/2018\/06\/18\/colorado-diana-degette-border-immigration\/\">across the political spectrum<\/a> \u2014 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.denverpost.com\/2018\/06\/19\/cory-gardner-immigration-family-separation\/\">from our congressional delegation<\/a> to the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.denverpost.com\/2018\/06\/19\/denver-post-republican-governor-debate-wrapup\/\">GOP candidates for governor<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>A lot more has happened, but you\u2019re just going to have to read the awesome newsletter below to find out about it.<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>Fresh news:<\/strong>\u00a0<\/em>President Donald Trump has chosen Colorado\u2019s next U.S. attorney, and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.denverpost.com\/2018\/06\/20\/jason-dunn-colorado-us-attorney\/\">it\u2019s Republican Denver attorney Jason Dunn<\/a>.
