\/><\/a>Over the weekend, Marijuana.net was proud to attend the <a href=\"http:\/\/medcancup.com\/san-francisco\/\" target=\"_blank\">2012 High Times San Francisco Cannabis Cup<\/a>.\u00a0 The event took place next to the\u00a0incredible waterfront view\u00a0at the Craneway\u00a0Pavilion\u00a0in Richmond, CA.<\/p>\n<p>The Cannabis Cup was not only about great views of the Bay Area.\u00a0 Our community can always be relied upon to partake in a peaceful and fun event.\u00a0 As we have come to expect from these gatherings, we did not notice any major incidents with security personnel.\u00a0 Attendees were happy to come and have fun, socialize and learn about the newest developments in the medical marijuana industry.\u00a0 The weekend\u2019s finale saw the famous Cannabis Cup trophies being issued.\u00a0 Many quality dispensaries such as<a href=\"http:\/\/sanjosepatientsgroup.org\/\" target=\"_blank\"> San Jose Patients Group<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/kushconnection.org\/\" target=\"_blank\">Kush Connection<\/a> brought along their impressive strains.\u00a0 <a href=\"http:\/\/mamagrind.com\/?wpsc-product=mama-ps-classic-grinder-4\" target=\"_blank\">Mama P\u2019s Grinders<\/a> won their 4<sup>th<\/sup> consecutive Cannabis Cup for their innovative grinders. \u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.marijuana.net\/news-and-articles\/2012-high-times-medical-marijuana-cannabis-cup-san-francisco-winners\/\" target=\"_blank\">Click here<\/a> for the entire list of the winners.<\/p>\n<p>Throughout the weekend guest speakers took the stage and spoke with the audience about the newest developments and legalities regarding marijuana.\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/hightimes.com\/\" target=\"_blank\"> David Bienstock <\/a>of High Times moderated a legal panel which also included criminal defense attorney Michael Stepanian in addition to<a href=\"http:\/\/norml.org\/\" target=\"_blank\"> NORML<\/a> members Liana Held and Paul Armentano.\u00a0 Attendees were also treated to an edible panel, an activism Q&amp;A, and of course a fun party held Saturday night.\u00a0 While we are fans of <a href=\"http:\/\/thewercshop.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">The Werc Shop<\/a>, we were fortunate enough to be located next another quality laboratory, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.cwanalytical.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">CW Analytical<\/a>.\u00a0 The future of a safe and patient oriented industry will rely heavily on quality lab testing so it was great to speak with another proficient laboratory.<\/p>\n<p>As the academic discussions took place patients and others in attendance had so much to do including stopping by the popular <a title=\"marijuana.net\" href=\"http:\/\/marijuana.net\" target=\"_blank\">marijuana.net<\/a> booth.\u00a0 As always we found an engaging audience happy to enter our raffle, talk with our strain expert to find their perfect strain and to hear about the newest developments described in our news and articles.\u00a0 Many visited our both including the internationally known <a href=\"http:\/\/www.anecdote-films.com\/milasjourney\/milajansen.html\" target=\"_blank\">Mila Jansen<\/a> who showed off her \u201cPollinator\u201d.\u00a0 Representatives from <a href=\"http:\/\/www.xternalrub.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Xternal Topical Spray<\/a> were nice enough to give us free samples of their product (very popular with MMA fighters) which is great for all pain including joint, back, and headaches.\u00a0 Signing our &#8220;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.marijuana.net\/directory\/i-medicate-because\/\" target=\"_blank\">I Medicate Because<\/a>&#8221; banner was popular as patients are eager to share their reasons for choosing medical marijuana.<\/p>\n<p>Reflecting San Francisco\u2019s progressive culinary culture, we also were impressed with the city\u2019s incredible and healthy edibles.\u00a0 There were so many different tasty treats that stood out including Eleve Gourmet Organic Truffles \u00a0(organic, soy Free, vegan friendly, gluten Free, and dairy Free), and the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.treescakefactory.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Treescake Factory<\/a>.\u00a0 There was also <a href=\"http:\/\/www.cousinmaryjane.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Cousin Mary Jane<\/a> (with delicious and healthy toasted hemp seeds) and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.chronicicetea.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Chronic Ice Tea <\/a>(who also had great ice cream
