(I mean, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thecannabist.co\/2018\/04\/20\/denver-celebrates-420-marijuana-photos\/104058\/\">just look at our pictures of previous events.<\/a>)<\/p>\n<p>It also didn\u2019t sit well with cannabis users who peppered the now-deleted Facebook thread with comments alleging hypocrisy and mixed messages.<\/p>\n<p><strong>RELATED: <em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.denverpost.com\/2022\/04\/14\/denver-420-events-2022-tickets-schedule\/\">Denver 420 guide: How to celebrate legal cannabis in 2022 with music, comedy and more<\/a><\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Starting in 2023, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.denverpost.com\/2022\/04\/19\/mile-high-420-festival-age-restriction-21-and-older\/\">the event will be restricted to attendees 21 years and up<\/a>. But since it appeared too late to pivot in 2022, the city\u2019s social media accounts posted a video that outlines state laws regarding cannabis use, including that it is illegal to sell marijuana to minors and drive high. Oh, and \u201cconsuming marijuana in public is prohibited.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>We\u2019ll assume that means even if Big Boi, Lil Jon and Talib Kweli are in town.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"500\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\" xml:lang=\"en\">?
