Good timing: The launch coincides with The Jerry Garcia Symphonic Celebration at Red Rocks Amphitheatre on June 29, when the Colorado Symphony will play hits from the iconic jam band in honor of what would be Garcia\u2019s 80th birthday later this year.<\/p>\n<p>As of that date, fans too can take a hit of Garcia Hand Picked flower, grown locally by Veritas Fine Cannabis. The company is rolling out a sativa strain called Morning in Marin, an indica strain called After Midnight and a hybrid called Love in the Afternoon. They\u2019ll be available for sale in pre-packaged eighths and as pre-rolls at dispensaries along the Front Range.<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>RELATED:<\/strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.denverpost.com\/2021\/11\/30\/celebrity-marijuana-brands-colorado\/\">7 celebrity cannabis brands you can find in Colorado<\/a><\/em><\/p>\n<p>Mike Leibowitz, founder and CEO at Veritas Fine Cannabis, said he couldn\u2019t puff, puff, pass on the opportunity to grow Garcia-inspired cannabis.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhen I first learned about potential opportunity I almost fell out of my chair,\u201d Leibowitz said. \u201cTo be able to represent something of that legendary status is a hippie\u2019s wet dream.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Veritas worked with Holistic Industries, which owns the brand and collaborates with Garcia\u2019s daughters, Trixie Garcia, Annabelle Garcia and Sunshine Kesey. Garcia Hand Picked gummies will also soon be available in Colorado through a partnership with Veritas\u2019 sister concentrate company, Olio, he added. Last year, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.denverpost.com\/2021\/08\/11\/method-man-tical-marijuana-colorado\/\">rapper Method Man launched TICAL flower<\/a> and followed up recently with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.denverpost.com\/2022\/04\/20\/method-man-tical-cannabis-edibles-concentrates-denver\/\">concentrates and edibles<\/a>.
