First small steps as a Marijuana Farmer
Last year I grew my first big plant. Why only one plant? Because I have this great spot which allows for only one plant, if I put more plants there then the risk of discovery will increase significantly. This year I started more sprouts because I wanted to put all except one out in nature.
This is what I learned in the first 8 weeks.
Germination
The easiest way is to put the seeds between tissue of toilet paper between two dinnerplates. Make sure the tissue stays moist all of the time. After 2 or 3 days most of them will start germinating the seeds. Wait for the root to be around 2 – 3 inches and then put them in a pot.

Soil
In the first pot you can just use regular soil for vegetable gardens, but don’t buy the really cheap one. The branded ones always have better structure and more nutrients.
Once the first smaller pot becomes too small for the roots around the 5th – 6th week put them in a bigger pot and this time use a home made soil mix for marijuana.
Two things are important, the soil must be really loose and must hold a lot of air. The basis of the soil is still regular potting soil but mix in coco fibre, Purpose: Water retention & drainage and perlite, purpose: air porosity. Harder to come by but also important: peat moss! It is a natural, organic soil conditioner that regulates moisture and air around plant roots for ideal growing conditions. The nutrients for my soil are from dried organic chicken manure and dried cow manure that I mix in. Add about 1 hand per 10 hands of soil.

Re-potting and moving to an outdoor spot.
After 5 – 6 weeks (depending on how big they are and how smelly) you can start preparing for re-potting and putting your plants in an outdoor situation. Do this gradually.
Re-pot then wait a few days, then put them outside. Make sure the temperature transition is not too harsh. And do not forget that indoor plants are not yet used to direct sunlight. They WILL burn their leaves if you put them in direct sunlight immediately.
Let them get used to the sun by moving them gradually from a more shady to a full sunny spot.
