How Jane Kim’s Euro bike junket exposed SFMTA’s shot-callers.

This story just keeps getting stranger and stranger. I was just trying to figure out why the SFMTA people are being so defensive of a hazard on my street that is hurting lots of bicyclists. You would think the transit agency responsible would want to fix the problem. Not in SF. Who are these people? The short answer: they are a clique and they control transportation in San Francisco.

They give lip service to bicycles and then shove us in the door lane. They poor mouth us when we ask for help. And they are looting the whole system to fund the Central Subway, a huge boondoggle for downtown special interests.

They use regressive sales taxes to rob from the poorest of the poor (even the homeless) and spend the money on projects that benefit the richest of the rich. And their power is beyond reach of us who live here.

San Franciscans are kept in the dark and fed manure. Not a word gets into print. Local media is literally deaf & dumb. (Not figuratively.) It’s very impressive really, brings us back to the days of Abe Ruef, just with a lot less class. (Click here to read the article)
