Longmont police arrest man, two juveniles in marijuana robbery
Longmont police on Friday arrested an adult man and two juveniles, alleging they beat and robbed a man for his marijuana.
Longmont police records indicate that Gabriel Christopher Vigil, 23, faces aggravated robbery, contributing to the delinquency of a minor, theft, kidnapping, first degree assault, criminal attempt to commit a felony, theft and weapons charges.
The incident happened on the 1100 block of Main Street, according to police records.
Longmont Police Sgt. Bruce Pettitt said Vigil and the two juveniles agreed to purchase marijuana from the alleged victim but pistol whipped him and beat him instead. The victim was taken to a local hospital for treatment and was released.
