NSAID painkillers are often prescribed, but the problem with these is that they don’t always work (depending on the cause of your back pain), and they also have a whole host of side effects.

Treating back pain has been a real issue for decades and decades, and there is no real blue print. It’s a matter of finding what works for you through trial and error. Because of this, the medical community are always looking for innovative methods to help treat back pain.

Depending on a wide variety of factors of factors including the cause, the location and the extent of your injury, you might find you have significant pain from compressed spinal nerves.

The main symptom of this is chronic pain – but you might also find you have tense muscles or fibrosis of the muscle fascia.

CBD oil can help relieve pain and numbness that comes as a result of nerve injury and nerve compression because it helps alleviate stress and allows your nerves to relax.

A doctor can include CBD oil in your treatment regime to help with the symptoms of nerve pain.

The symptoms of muscular pain varies case by case.

It can be sharp or dull and can be consistent or it can come and go.

The most frequent cause of this pain tends to be muscular strain, which is a result of a torn or overly stretched muscle(s) – often through sitting for extended periods of time.

CBD oil works by relaxing your muscles, which in turn relieves the pain that results from muscular strain.

In this case, it’s recommended to do very light exercise (such as swimming), as long as it doesn’t hurt – along with CBD oil treatment to get the most benefit.

The lumbar spine, commonly referred to as the low back, is a whole host of interconnected joints, bones, ligaments, nerves, muscles and the spinal cord – that all work together to help you with movement of the body. However, the complex structure makes this part of the body susceptible to injury, and subsequent pain.

The low back supports the weight of your upper body and provides mobility for movement such as flexion, extension, bending, and twisting.

Low back pain can be mild and just nagging or it can be extreme and debilitating. It can start suddenly or slowly, getting worse over time.

The use of CBD oil can often help relieve pain symptoms of low back pain in place of, or alongside traditional painkillers.

If you’ve injured your lumbar spine through an accident – it’s first recommended that you visit a specialist doctor.

This refers to the changes that occur in the spinal discs as a result of ageing process.

They most commonly occur in the upper and lower back (cervical and lumbar).

Although these changes are age related, they can accelerate through various means due to inflammation, spinal stenosis, herniated disc(s) or osteoporosis. You are also at a high risk of developing this condition if you are obese, smoke cigarettes and if your work involves lifting heavy loads.

It’s also worth noting, that DDD (Degenerative Disc Disease) used to only be seen in older people, but now, due to modern life stresses (you can thank your office job), it’s being found in people as young as 25!

CBD oil helps reduce the pain symptoms that come as a result of degenerative disc disease – and it might even prevent it in the first place.
