Where’s the Cannabis-Infused Korean Style Beef?

Hi! Keria from Ambrosia here and today I’m sorry to say I’m in a bit of a mood. You see, I’m pretty angry with someone…

I’ve got beef.

MAJOR BEEF!

Did you believe me? Sorry! I was just kidding; I’m not actually mad, but I do actually have beef. I’m really excited to share my latest recipe with you: Cannabis-infused Korean Style Beef!

Korean style beef is a great recipe for making a snack, hosting a party, or having a quick and easy dinner. You can add some fresh rice for a recipe that’ll keep you full and satisfy your taste buds. If you prefer something lighter, substitute the rice for lettuce leaves to create some delicious bulgogi lettuce wraps.

As we always do, let’s prepare our tools and ingredients before we get started:

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • ¼ cup brown sugar
  • ¼ cup soy sauce
  • 2 tsp. sesame oil
  • ½ white onion
  • Ground black pepper
  • Green onions (optional)
  • ¼ tsp. ground ginger (optional)
  • Sesame seeds (optional)
  • 2 tsp. of Ghee*
  • Cooking oil

Tools:

  • Bowl
  • Whisk
  • Large frying pan

*2 tsp. of Ghee measures out to roughly 100 m.g. of THC. Feel free to use a smaller amount for a less intense beef experience*

Step 1: Mix

In the large bowl, combine ¼ cup of brown sugar, ¼ cup of soy sauce, 2 tsp sesame oil, ¼ tsp ground ginger, and 2 tsp of Ghee. Alright, we’re going to whisk all our ingredients until mixed well.

Step 2: Cook

Let’s move onto our beef. Heat your cooking oil in a large frying pan over medium heat. While the oil heats, dice the ½ onion. Add onions and pepper and cook until browned.

Then add ground beef to oil and onions. Cook until beef is golden brown, or approximately 5 minutes.

Step 3: Drain and Simmer

Now that the beef is looking golden brown, drain the excess oils and fats. Next, add the soy sauce mixture and chopped green onions. Stir to make sure everything mixes properly. Lower heat and allow the beef to simmer for two minutes.

Step 4: Enjoy
