Federal Agents Raid and Take Over Oaksterdam University
Agents of the Federal Government attempted to attack the heart of the medical marijuana community today as they raided Oaksterdam University. There has not been much in the way of public comments from federal authorities as Arlette Lee, an IRS spokeswoman would only simply say “What we are doing here today is under seal.” Protestors already gathered outside of the sectioned off school to demonstrate against the federal take over. One protestor and former student of the university Ryan Hooper, said “This is not in the best interest of the city. If they close the dispensaries, all of this stuff is going to go back underground.” Oaksterdam University is well known for promoting a safe and educated medical marijuana industry.
