Her new upcoming memoir is titled “GrowGirl: How My Life After The Blair Witch Project Went to Pot.” In the book she describes the instant fame she received from the cult hit scary movie and the aftermath of trying to maintain an acting career. After the Blair Witch Project, she summed up her career by saying “The acting projects I was lucky enough to work on weren’t always things that I felt good about putting out into the world.”
Her first major career change seems evident in the title of her book. Heather Donahue spent a year in a place called “Nuggetown” with growers where she learned to cultivate marijuana.
